Exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy diet is one approach to help us have a healthier body.
FITNESS
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle has become a priority for me, although I wouldn't say I'm in top shape, I consider myself quite healthy. To stay fit, I blend swimming sessions with doing aerobics into my routine. Twice a week, my older brother and I head to the pool for invigorating two-hour swims. It's not just about physical fitness; it's a cathartic release, especially after taxing days at school. The water washes away stress, leaving me feeling relaxed and liberating my soul.
I do aerobics everyday, typically done at home for 30 minutes after dinner. Stretching helps keep my muscles supple and enhances my overall mobility. Doing it consistently has not only improved my physical agility but also serves as a mental cooldown, helping me unwind before bedtime.
EATING HABITS
As for eating habits, I used to have a sweet tooth. I ate cakes and drank milk tea without thinking until I realized I was progressively becoming out of shape. Since then, I've made conscious efforts to adopt healthier choices. I've incorporated more vegetables and fruits into my diet, eat smaller portions, avoided desserts especially cakes, milk tea and avoided fatty food. They’re now reserved for weekend outings with friends.
This shift towards healthier eating has had a profound impact. I feel more energized throughout the day, ready to tackle any task that comes my way. Weekends have become a source of joy, not just for the indulgence in favourite treats but also for the sense of balance and moderation they bring.
Overall, prioritizing fitness and healthier eating has not only transformed my body but also uplifted my spirits, making each day a journey towards vitality and well-being.
